Licence
Last updated: 19 July 2026
When you purchase a document you are buying a licence to use it, not ownership of it. Copyright in all documents remains with FinancePolicies.
What you may do
- Use, edit and adapt the document for the internal purposes of one organisation (the legal entity named at purchase, including its wholly-owned subsidiaries).
- Make copies for that organisation's directors, employees, auditors, advisers and regulators in the ordinary course of business.
- Keep using documents you have purchased indefinitely, including after editing.
What you may not do
- Resell, sublicense, publish, distribute or otherwise make any document (edited or not) available outside the licensed organisation.
- Use any document to provide templates, document packs or similar products or services to third parties, whether commercially or free of charge.
- Remove or alter these licence terms' application by disguising a document's origin for the purposes of redistribution.
If you are a consultant or adviser buying on behalf of a client, the licensed organisation is the client, and one licence is required per client organisation.
We may terminate a licence for material breach of these terms. Termination does not affect your other obligations under the Terms of Sale.
